serendib is
a very lousy and decrepit site, used to be number 1005, Hollywood Boulevard on Geocities; that's right, the fifth man on the block, that was a long long time ago, before i was thrown away on instruction of an autocratic neighbourwatcher after an irascible newyorker complained of a subtle joke;
a good book (climbed up to #6 in the Belgian charts in July 2000)
a stupendous museum;
another one well in the finishing stage;
a very nice place in the desert.
